1. If you create or enter any Fantastar league or team through the Website located at www.fantastar.com you are bound to play it within the terms and conditions of play as specified by Fantastar.

1a. Registering a Fantastar team for the 2008 Fantasy Beijing Hockey competition is free. To be eligible for the prizes a person must enter no more than 2 Fantastar teams. Prizes can only be delivered to a UK address. Prizes are subject to availability. If an advertised prize is unavailable then an equivalent product will be substituted. In the event of a tie, the manager who made the fewest transfers wins.

2. A Fantastar league will remain active for a period of 12 months from the date of the league creation.

3. Fantastar leagues registered before the end of December 2008 are free.

4. There is no limit to the number of Fantastar teams a club member may enter. Each league is password protected to prevent spurious Fantastar team registrations. It is the responsibility of the club to ensure that the league password is kept secure. If a club wishes to change a league password then please contact us.

5. Fantastar reserves the right to refuse to accept team names that are felt in its sole opinion to be inappropriate or offensive. Unsuitable names will be deleted and the team will appear under the manager's name.

6. The players included on the player list and their positional classifications are determined by the club administrator. Fantastar will not enter into any correspondence relating to details of the player list. Instead, the correspondence must be directed to the league administrator.

7. Players will score points as illustrated in the league rules. Any discrepancies in the results must be taken up with the league administrator.

8. The data, rules, point structure, Fantatrump cards and Fantastar rating mechanism are all Copyright Fantastar. No information may be reproduced in any format without prior written consent from Fantastar.

9. Informative and explanatory copy relating to Fantastar, including the scoring system and rules, form part of the terms and conditions of this game.

10. Fantastar reserve the right themselves to refuse to accept any entry which, in their opinion, does not comply with the rules and regulations of the website or which contravenes the spirit of the Fantastar. Fantastar further have an absolute discretion to disqualify any entry, or vary, amend or waive the rules of the competition at any time and participants agree that no liability shall attach to Fantastar as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any participant. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.

11. Any site users or managers found to be attempting or suspected of attempting to hack into any servers or systems run by Fantastar will be immediately removed from the system and have any subscriptions or payments cancelled. Such users will have no right to any refunds and Fantastar reserves the right to report the matter to the relevant authorities.

12. The Fantastar Website may now or in the future permit the submission of Fantatrump cards or other communications submitted by you and other users ("User Submissions") and the hosting, sharing, and/or publishing of such User Submissions. You understand that whether or not such User Submissions are published, Fantastar does not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to any submissions.

13. You shall be solely responsible for your own User Submissions and the consequences of posting or publishing them. In connection with User Submissions, you affirm, represent, and/or warrant that: (i) you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize Fantastar to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all User Submissions to enable inclusion and use of the User Submissions in the manner contemplated by the Website and these Terms of Service; and (ii) you have the written consent, release, and/or permission of each and every identifiable individual person in the User Submission to use the name or likeness of each and every such identifiable individual person to enable inclusion and use of the User Submissions in the manner contemplated by the Website and these Terms and Conditions. For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights in your User Submissions. However, by submitting the User Submissions to Fantastar, you hereby grant Fantastar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Submissions in connection with the Fantastar Website and Fantastar's (and its successor's) business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Fantastar Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also hereby grant each user of the Fantastar Website a non-exclusive license to access your User Submissions through the Website, and to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform such User Submissions as permitted through the functionality of the Website and under these Terms and Conditions.

14. In connection with User Submissions, you further agree that you will not: (i) submit material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant Fantastar all of the license rights granted herein; (ii) publish falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage Fantastar or any third party; (iii) submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate; (iv) post advertisements or solicitations of business: (v) impersonate another person. Fantastar does not endorse any User Submission or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein, and Fantastar expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with User Submissions. Fantastar does not permit copyright infringing activities and infringement of intellectual property rights on its Website, and Fantastar will remove all Content and User Submissions if properly notified that such Content or User Submission infringes on another's intellectual property rights. Fantastar reserves the right to remove Content and User Submissions without prior notice.

15. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE FANTASTAR WEBSITE SHALL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FANTASTAR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEBSITE AND YOUR USE THEREOF. Any UK-based association running a fantasy competition on the Fantastar Website who choose to charge an entry fee and provide prizes as part of the competition should be aware of the Gambling Act 2005. Note: If the competition is non-commercial (i.e. nobody is making private or commercial gain) then a gambling licence is not required (refer to part 14 of the Act).

18. Fantastar may periodically update and revise these terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by such revisions and should therefore revisit this page periodically to acquaint yourself with such.
