Player Scoring
I am a player at the club. How do I track my points?
When you've first registered your team then go to the 'Your Player' tab. From here you can select your player. From then on you can access the 'Your Player' tab to quickly and easily view your stats.
How does my player score points?
Players gain or lose points based on their performance on the field. Points are scored for measures such as goals, clean sheets, etc and are lost for measures such as goals conceded and cards. A full list of your league's scoring rules can be found by clicking on the 'League rules' link on the 'Manager Home' tab.
When are the points updated?
It depends on when your league administrator has entered the results. Once the results have been entered then the team/player points will usually be updated overnight. The 'Stats Last Updated' field on the 'Manager Home' tab will show the date/time at which the points were last updated.
How is my Fantastar rating calculated?
The Fantastar rating is an indication of the player's value and is used as part of the transfers process. The 1 to 5 Fantastar rating ranks a player's performance compared to players of the same position.
At the start of the season there appears to be an excess of 4 and 5 star players. Why is that?
The 1 to 5 Fantastar rating ranks a player's performance compared to players of the same position. At the start of the season a number of players may share the same number of points. When the Fantastar Stats Engine encounters a number of players on the same number of points then the Fantastar rating is rounded up. As the season progresses the player points will have a greater granularity and the Fantastar rating will be distributed more evenly.
